Terms & Conditions
QA - Sometimes we will open a package to make sure the unit is in perfect working order before we ship. This ensures you are happy with your purchase and returns are not necessary.
Distance Selling Regulations 2000 (7 day returns). You have the right to cancel your order (for any reason), up to seven working days after the day of receipt, under the following conditions:
1. Cancellation must by in writing (a telephone call is not enough to constitute cancellation).
2. The goods must not be damaged or soiled in any way. All opened goods must be carefully opened and then carefully repackaged (otherwise we can not refund in full)
** If the goods cannot be passed as new and resellable at full price there may be a restocking fee of 10% - 15% depending on condition.
3. Cost of return is at your expense.
4. Goods arrive back undamaged (please insure the shipment if possible).
5. Goods are returned with their original packaging and complete.
6. Special / customised orders are non returnable.
7. Any free add-ons from promotions, must also be returned together with the goods.
8. Our postage costs will be deducted from the refund
Goods that do not meet the above criteria will be subjected to additional surcharges. All transactions processed comply with the Distance Selling Regulations 2000. For more details visit www.dti.gov.uk.
If you exercise your right to cancel, ownership reverts back to the supplier. The following goods are non returnable once opened: sealed media (unless faulty), cleaning fluids, general consumables (spray cans, cleaners), phono cartridges and earphones, unless damaged on delivery. Unwanted goods from international customers must be sent back at the customers expense without exception.
In cases of returned orders which included free items, the free items must also be returned otherwise a 20% restocking fee may apply. In cases of returned items that formed part of a package deal, the equivalent price refunded on the returned item is at our discretion but is generally 50% of the package price.
28 Day Money Back Guarantee
Returns after 7 days but within 28 days are covered by our 28 day money back guarantee. The conditions above under "Returned Goods" still apply. Any items returned after the initial 7 days, but within 28 days, which were not in stock at time of order, may be refunded less a 20% restocking fee and less the original shipping amount paid by ourselves. If you return your item(s) after 7 days but within 28 days, the refund is less our shipping costs.
The regulations impose a responsibility on the consumer to take reasonable care of any goods that have been supplied. The obligation applies before as well as after the consumer has given the notice of cancellation. The 30 day money back guarantee does not apply to orders on finance which are bound by the conditions of the finance agreement and covered by distance selling regulations.
All accessories should be unopened (including cabinets, remote controls, cables, batteries, etc). Any accessories missing may incur an administration charge of £10 plus the replacement cost from the manufacturer. Please note if you take advantage of our 28 day money back guarantee and return the item(s) to swap for something else, the 28 day money back guarantee does not apply to the items you have swapped for, which fall under 7 day distance selling regulations.
Provided goods have been correctly supplied by us as specified by the order, no returns will be accepted unless agreed and negotiated in writing.
To obtain a refund goods must be returned undamaged in their original packaging with all accessories, which may include lead sets, instruction manuals and warranty registration cards, any software must remain unopened.
How do I pack it?
All goods returned are at the purchaser's expense and must be securely packaged and returned un-damaged in their original packaging with all accessories, which may include test lead sets, instruction manuals and warranty registration cards, any software must remain un-opened.
Do not write on or mark the product packaging. Please enclose a copy of your invoice(s).
How long will it take?
We aim to have all returns processed (subject to inspection and acceptance) within 7 days of receipt. Please allow up to 7 days for delivery for goods returned by post. Any goods rejected for return will be shipped back to you at your expense.
All refunds will be issued via cheque, as once payment has been taken, customer credit card details are deleted for security and confidentiality purposes.
Shipping and Handling - Unless otherwise agreed in writing the prices quoted ex our stores and carriage and insurance are charged at extra costs. All On-line UK orders are charged a carriage fee, this will be added to transactions to ensure courier delivery or Royal Mail on all stock items.
Delivery Schedule - We will make every effort to meet delivery dates, but cannot accept liability for failures to do so, howsoever caused. Orders received before 1.30 p.m. will be processed the same day, after this time, the order will be classed as the following working day.
Out of Stock - If your item is not in stock, we will notify you by email and your order will be placed on back-order and despatched as soon as the item is in stock.
Tax Charges - V.A.T. is charged at the current rate. All prices quoted are exclusive of VAT.
Credit Card Security - When the order is placed at our website, credit card numbers are encrypted using secure 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.
Please Note - We are unable to process any credit cards from EU countries at present, all payments must be received via Bank Transfer (BACS/IBAN).
Guarantee - All goods are supplied with the Manufacturer's repairs or replacement warranty. The defective goods must be returned to us at the purchaser's expense. No repair or replacement will be provided until we have received the faulty goods and have inspected them. The normal conditions of warranty of the appropriate Manufacturer will apply.
WEEE Regulations - Please contact the manufacturer directly for their policy on returning products under the WEEE directive.
